Subject: Re: saab 900 stalling problem, 1989

Many stalling problems can be traced to either a defective dashpot or ISC (idle speed control motor). The throttle switch has not been a major problem in our workshop. '89 900s were notorius for ECU failures as well. I would also check for a small vaccum leak, the hose running from the cam cover to the intake is often a culprit. 73, **************************************************************************** ******* Bruce J.
