Be sure your headlamps are on. The headlamps must be on and they must be on low beam only. They will not work when your lights are not on or when you have your hi-beams on. When I first got my '88 900T I was bummed that mine didn't work. I felt like an idiot when I read the manuel and found out they did work. Glad I looked at the book before I went to the garage. My mechanic is a good guy and all but I would have never lived that one down.
