If yours is turbo, acquaint yourself with the heightened mainenance schedule and shutoff procedures required. Ours is normally aspirated, and we like it that way. GM is actively pruning the Saab dealer network, and this may lead to buying opportunities....we got our '98 nearly $8k off its $38k sticker in early August. See www.carbuyingtips.com for a lot of important information. My guess is that our dealer wanted to move as many units as possible to hang on to his Saab shingle. I'm not sure if the decisions have been made yet or not. Any leftover '98s should go for good prices...word is the 9-3s have 1000+ changes. Key among them are side air bags, active headrests, bigger rear window, change to hydraulic top mechanism from electric (with simplified top seams and built-in drip rail). And probably the threading on 994 assorted bolts. Check prices on www.edmunds.com and others. Just beware, the prices trail the market by 4-5 months. -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
