I used to drive a '90 Saab 900i with MXT2's. At a certain point some ass decided to cut all 4 tires, and I had them replaced by Pirelli 4000's (no Michelin's in stock and I needed tires badly that day). Conclusion: low noise when compared to the MXT2, but the Michelin's were far better on stability, in long curves and with high speed. Pirelli's are a bit cheaper, but I would go back to the MXT2's any day. Thanks to the jerk who wanted to have some fun and cut my tires. Jan Caspar Ph.G.
