I don't know about those new fangled '97's but on the older models you can just remove the drivers side dash speaker then reach in behind the dash and take the bulb out. I don't know why this irritates some people but by all means if it bugs you get it out. Last thing we need is a Saab owner with road rage. Bad for our image as a whole ya know!
