Linda... There is an adjustment of the bands, it's done from the underside and the covers have to be removed. Normally you lose reverse and a simple adjustment can get you back on the road...well that is after you pay for the labor, gaskets etc Good luck! Joe 1986 900T Auto, 179K miles original Tranny.
