What a blunder to a near perfect car! > --Paul The new 9-5 actually bears a *very* strong resemblance to the classic 900 shape... take a look at the hoodline, and even the shape of the side windows. Of course, it lost its hatchback, which I am truly saddened by, but the Saab designers did a fine job with that car... The 9-3/ng900 OTOH is quite ugly IMHO - I've driven a couple and they are very nice cars, but no matter how hard I try I simply cannot like their appearance. Oh well. -Justin P.S. That old exhaust note you love was a function of the shape of the VERY inefficient exhaust manifold design. Despite the nice sound, if I could change was substantial thing about my '90 SPG, that exhaust manifold would be it... It's getting in the way of more power!
