my fiance has an 89 9000cd with alot of different problems, and being a ford guy, i need to ask you people for some help. please bear with me, there will be quite a few. any answers will be extremely appreciated. feel free to email too. first, electrical problems, the right side dash lights don't work, also the radio doesnt light up (is it supposed to?), now the fuse for interior lights, 10A on bottom of far right of fuse panel, is blown. this leads to another problem, i replace the fuse, and the lights still don't work, but now the climate control remains on all the time, even after turning the car off. any ideas? with the blown fuse in, the climate control always comes on when the car is turned on. is this normal? also, she currently has no fuse at all in the rear defrost slot, yet it still works. what's up with this? second, the exhaust system, what's with the two mufflers? or is the front, smaller, oval one a resonator and the rear, larger, conical one a muffler? anyways, her front one has had the seal rust open, thus requiring a new one. i just need to know for sure it is a resonator or what it's called, and how much will one cost and where to get one? third, it's leaks oil more than average out of the valve cover, on outer surfaces and especially on the inner area (where the spark plugs are), especially when driven hard (by me), anyway, i tightened all the bolts, and it still does it. how hard would it be to replace the valve cover gasket? well, that's enough for now. i hope someone can help me. chad
