Chances are the ATF bottle was for the power steering, which is a no-no as the Saab rack (made by GM) should use p/s fluid only... If it's a bottle of Amsoil ATF, I'm told that's okay in the rack (though I still trust only real p/s fluid). The tranny, OTOH, should use either transmission fluid or generic motor oil. It's important to find out which your's has, because mixing the two is NOT a good idea. Whichever it has, continue to use it. -Justin
