Last few weeks I've noticed a little 'mayonaisse' on the oil dipstick (oil/filter change 2000 miles ago, semi-synthetic).. seems to coincide with an apparent 'breathing' problem where if I blip the throttle the revs rise then fall to about 500 rpm and things get a little rough, then rise again to idle speed of 1000ish. Are these observations connected? Where should I start looking? The breather pipes I can get to at the top of the engine seem fine. Went to my local SAAB dealer today and they said the mayo is pretty normal (?) and the rev drop would be cured by a spell on their crypton machine.. thoughts anyone? -- Hugh Fiske
