Rob, I used Marvel Mystery oil about 28 years ago in my 68 Camaro, 327 3spd, when I was stationed in Altus, Oklahoma. I rebuilt my engine to increase power and I know the Marvel Mystery oil worked well as an upper cylinder lubricant. Sometimes I would mix some in the gas as well, but those were the days of carburetors, and some gas still head lead, especially premium. I personally use Berryman B-12 Chemtool in the gas to clean the fuel system and injectors while taking care of moisture. I also use Militec-1 in the crankcase, transmission, power steering and A/C compressor. It is a synthetic oil based metal conditioner...I have used it over 4 years, and I recommend it because it works... I buy mine at the base exchange, but you can learn more about it at www.apdinc.com.
