1994 9000 CS (nonturbo Manual) 1)The car died on my wife today. 2)The info. dash display was only reading 7.5 volts when I got there. 3)Took a good load off my 900 when I jupered it (engine RPM dropped). 4)Only went 4-5 miles and started running rough again. Did a longer charge (by jumping) and drove it home(5-7 miles), ran fine. 5)Had the battery tested at Track Auto and it tested good, but needs charge. 6)The battery charge light stays on with the engine running. I don’t think the car is charging the battery. The manual (Yeah, I don’t have a repair manual yet) said it could be the alternator or voltage regulator. a) where is the voltage regulator? b) how does that alternator come out(tight fit!!)? c) how could a&b be tested any help would be appreciated aerod -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
