Subject: Re: Saab 900 convertible

Here at Europe the last "classical" 900 convertible was the MY1993, some of them sold till 1994. Non of them were equipped with the (awful) GM-V6. This engine was first installed in the "new" 900 and caused a lot of trouble (like the rest of the new 900). From my point of view, the classical body style of the old 900 convertible is very exclusive, the new 900 looks too similar to a GM-Opel Astra/Vectra...with short hood and so - I donīt like it! The 9-3 is a nice try to make a real SAAB out of the awful new 900. - I cannot recommend the old V6, but I donīt know what has changed at the 9-3 V6. I like the 2.0 V4 turbo (SPG?!) ; ) - RCS - hien pham: > I saw an 900 SE turbo, convertible, 1993, for sale for $19000. > > The ad said this car has 6 cyl. Is this true ? Is this the old > bodystyle ? > > I like the old body style much more than the new one.
