Some engines along time ago where even built in England. There is nothing wrong with this! A friend of mine has a Lotus sunbeam whose ancient engine (I think it was based on Vauxhall victor) kicks out 195 hp at the rear wheels. The truth that the rest of the world can't accept is that us brits are still the best when it comes to making cars perform, evidence F1.
