You need a new direct ignition cartridge, and replacement wire harness to hook it up. This is a very common problem usually causing your type of symptoms. The cartridge was latter changed to markedly increase it's life. Early ones craked and started to leak the oil inside, usually causing one or more clinders to misfire, they rarely lasted more than 80 -100 k miles. I did the work myself very easy to do, less than an hour. Shop around for the new one, I payed under $ 400 for both the cartridge and harness from Armand Verdone Sabb in Phoenix AZ, local shop wanted almost 600. Hope this heps good luck Ron On Sun, 3 Jan 1999 13:08:17 +0100, "Johan LAUWERS" <lauwers.sablonnopsam.be> wrote: >Indeed, some of the 9000 models and all 9000CS(E) models have a DI-cassette. > >Bwitchinnopsam.net heeft geschreven in bericht ... >> >><turbospgnopsamsouth.net> writes: >> >>> mabey you need new spark plug wires if you had to close the gap. >>> Mark >> >>well my husband says there are no spark plug >>wires in my car. >>> >>> >>> Bwitchinnopsam.net wrote: >>> > >>> > <dwgillnopsamejanews.com> writes: >>> > >>> > > I have a 92 9000 that started to run like it had bad gas a few months >>ago. >>> > > Started sputtering and them would go fine.
