Subject: Re: help: Choke problem

errr. sorry to take this space in non-related cars, but i can't seem to email you, "No User" and would like to get this message passed to you, if you care to respond, please do: I have an 85 626 as well, (4 door and hatchback) and I would be interested in your opinions and experiences with the car, and will offer any help i can with yours, i have done a fair bit of work on my car myself (engine, tranny, brakes, various electrical, etc). what exactly is the choke problem? I think my choke is broken as well, seeing as it doesn't warm up properly in these northern days. ~~~~~~~~~~~ What should I expect from the choke (carubretor) heater wire, a steady 12 v DC or vary accordingly from the emission control unit? I have a '85 Mazda 626, but I think those choke works similar for all brands car, so can u tell me. I found out that there is no signal from the choke wire from a multitester (one ground to negative batt, one in choke wire).
