Justin, I know the Navy is using Militec-1. They were the first branch to run the tests. That created another set of problems because the Army is the one that normally does that type of testing. That set off an interservice pissing contest. The Navy uses Militec-1 in several applications for vehicles, aboard ships and nuclear submarines and it is used to lubricate various weapons. If you go to www.apdinc.com, there is a ton of information on the various uses. Why use it? If you want to reduce wear in your engine, transmission, power steering and a lot of other places to extend the life of vehicles and machinery, then Militec-1 makes sense. Does it work? Yes. Check out the oil analysis done during a transit test. All I can say is try it...I am confident you will like it. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
