I have been having the exact same problem with my '92 900 with 60,000 miles. Although it has been pretty reliable in the past, the recent cold weather has made it impossible to start on cold days. But when it warmed up the 45(F) the other day, the engine took right off. My car is due for an oil change now, so I am thinking about trying a winter-grade oil for the first time. I noticed the owners' manual suggested this, and was wondering if this seems to help. Jon
