What is the better decision: TREND or ABBOTT??? This is a very expensive way to go but will give you incredible stopping power. You will have to use at least 16" rims since the disc's will not fit under standard 15" rims. For brake pads you could get Mintex at any "boy racer" type parts supplier. The price which Abbott quote for pads is just silly money. I myself have been using standard AP pads and disc's but have found that the high metal content of the pads produces too much heat causing damage to the disc. This setup has however given me much better stopping power than the SAAB pads and is quite alot cheaper i.e. about £80 for a complete set of front pads and discs for 84-900.
