Subject: Re: What makes a Saab so special?

Good question. Easily answered, I work as a sales rep selling Snow Ski & Surf accessories all over Australia except Western Australia, I've been doing the same sort of job in the same territory for almost 16 years and average about 120k km's each year. During this time I have had Australian built cars, Japanese, French, & English cars, all before my first SAAB an 89 900i 3 speed auto. I've been driving Saab cars for 9 years now and in that time have travelled more than a million kilometres all over Australia from the alps & our lowest temperatures of -20 centigrade to the deserts of the centre, and the northern tropics where the temperature regularly reaches 50 c in the shade, and over 70 c on the road. In the Northern Territory there are no speed limits and sometimes 500 km's between fuel stops, on these stages I drive as fast as my car will go (230 k's with the roof off) for hours at a time. In Sydney traffic, driving 500 yards can take as long as in any other city. During my time with SAAB I've never had to repair or replace anything that wouldn't be replaced under normal use, my cars have started first time every time, and, I've always arrived on time.
