At least that would be some helpful information. Any car manufacturer can produce a lemon; SAAB may even produce more than its share. I haven't had such an experience but I can imagine that it would be infuriating. I had a 96 900SE and had no trouble, but I wouldn't conclude that all SAABs are perfect. Does your state have a lemon law?
