M3 vs. Viggen? M3 in U.S. has 240hp, less torque. Viggen has 225hp, 252lbft (much more than M3, and at much lower rpms!). However, the M3 is better in sheer performance, no doubt, although more expensive. But the Viggen is more than just a warmed up saloon, as stated below. heavily revised suspension, brakes, steering, engine, seats, etc... Where it really excels in real-life performance. Mid-range torque is outstanding and thrilling. M3 is one of the all-time greats -- the Viggen is a blast to drive and the individualists choice. And with it's versatility it's sort of like an M3 for an active lifestyle. I could put my bikes inside the car, instead of on the roof...
