The US M3 accelerates within 0.1 sec to 60 of the Euro version, but the Euro has a greater emphasis on high end power. While the M3 may have a bit more torque, the Saab will have a MUCH lower peak due to its turbo. Still, the limitations of FWD will make tha BMW superior on a race track, no doubt about that .... in the real world the Saab will out perform in some conditions (snow, wet) Mark MArk In article <79p9ad$a1$1nopsam1.dejanews.com>, supersambanopsamejanews.com says... > >In article <79om5h$gql$1nopsam1.dejanews.com>, > r600nopsamejanews.com wrote: >> Interior has two-tone materials, sports seats, etc... they are positioning it >> as a driver's car for the real world -- 252lb ft for a 3,100lb car translates >> into great acceleration (hp relates more to top speed, torque to acceleration) >> and mid-range/overtaking punch.
