I meant 2.5 ltr. The latest version of this engine powers the Vauxhall/Opel vectra Gsi. This engine is supposed to kick out 193 bhp to give a 0-60 of 7.6 secs. From memory it does produce a lot of torque but too far up the rev range to compare to the SAAB turbo engines. If you ask me 193 horses from a normally aspirated 2.5 ltr is very impressive. The 3.0 ltr engine is used in the top of the range Opel Omega. This car is a bit expensive however (£30K). Apparently Opel are planing to shoehorn the vette engine into the front of the Omega. NOw that will be interesting! NJH. -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
