Hi, My Saab has the similar problem. For my problem, it's nothing about the A/C. Even I turn the AC off, I still unable to get rid of the sound. I had identified the source of the sound. You can try to let the engine spin from idle to about 1700-2000 rev while cold start. The sound come in cold start only. Once you warm the engine up, the sound goes off. Since my car runs less than 60kkm and I did great care about the engine. Together I am not a tough driver. I don't think the source of sound is coming from the engine. I did ask my dealer and they can provide a satisfactory explaination but suggest me to change the whole auto gear box (she asked for US3000 because the warranty was expired). Since I don't sense any problem besides the sound, I just forget about it. Hope you can shoot the real problem. Best regards, Joey P.T.
