Subject: Windshield Washer Pressure

Hi My problem is a simple one to fix, but I was wondering why it happens and if it happens much. When I try to wash the windshield water barely comes out of the drivers side sprayer, and doesn't at all on the passenger side. The pump is good, the problem is the "T" at the drivers sprayer. It has a valve, and the pressure comes out the back. Since there is no dealer here, and Saabs in a junk yard are virtually un heard of, I was going to try to come up with something from a drip system. My question is: Why doesn it need a valve? Should I try to replace it with a factory part, or will anything that fits work? And the back window,,,, It's more of a heavy dribble than anything! Thanks Dave '96SEturbo (what a bitchen car)
