Actually, the 9-5 2.3 SE Turbo comes standard with power leather seats, moonroof, cassetter/CD with weatherband, real walnut wood trim, trip computer, front and rear fogs, headlight wiper/eashers, anti-whiplash seats, lots of versatility, lots of safety, etc...,etc...,etc... for about $33.5-$34k. Regarding engine, I don't care how many cylinders, I care about how it performs. Plus, I must have a manual trans. Can't consider a car without it -- otherwise, I'd be much more pro 300M, it's a great car, no doubt, but autostick doesn't do it for me. Believe me, I'd love trhe opportunity to buy a world- class sports sedan that's American-made -- but there aren't any 5-speeds. I can justify Saab because 1. I love the uniqueness and innovations , and 2. Since GM owns it, most of the profits (and Saab is profitable finally for 1998) come back to the good old USA.
