I brought a '91 900S Sedan in this week for a pre-purchase inspection. At first look I thought that the car had around 90,000 miles on her. Lt. Blue metallic. Pretty. I looked inside to jot the odometer reading on the Repair Order. The Odo read 201,000 miles. I wrote the figure down on the R/O, and stepped back for one more look. Nice car. I set the legs on the contact lift and placed the Saab in the air. Nice, clean car I thought to myself. Another Tech and I pulled the wheels, checked the brakes, (90% front and rear) rotated the tires (fairly recent Pirelli's), changed the oil, checked the suspension and exaust, (tight), and set her down for an interior inspection and a safety check and test drive. All items worked perfectly. The test drive was great! Not a sound or vibration. The new owner bought a really nice car. She'll be happy for along time. Saab cars, they're built like a pickup truck.
