Pull the plug, drain, and replace the same amount. Drive a day or so, and repeatr the operation. Then do it again. This will change most of the fluid to new stuff. I use AMSOIL synthetic ATF, and now have 185K on the transmission. Kids used AMSOIL synthetic ATF and had just over 200K on theirs, when it failed because the final drive ran out of fluid (gear lube--I also use AMSOIL synthetic there). Check the final drive level every year,. and top opff as necessary. If it starts going out fast, may need some seals replaced. While you are at it, change the power steering fluid, too.
