Before the fuel pump gave out on my '88 9000T, there was an increasing delay in acceleration. And, I recently solved a hesitation (and oft times stumbling) problem on acceleration in my '87 SPG by replacing the fuel feeder pump. You're best off getting a fuel pressure tester and hooking it up to the fuel rail, although with a 9000 that is a royal PITA to get to. Happy hunting... -Justin
