Ok, I'm going to ask other people, since my dealer SWEARS this isn't a problem, and can't figure anything out (other than replacing the DI cassette for another problem of early RPM cutout). I have a 95 9000 Aero which has a small idle problem. Normally, the idle (while I bit rough) sits around 800rpm when the car is warmed up... but sometimes for no explicable reason, the engine will stumble, drop to 300-500rpm, then pop up to 1200 for a second, then settle back down to 800rpm at idle. This happens mostly when it's warm---I've not noticed it much when cold. APC seems to be acting correctly (i.e. on an Aero, it pushes into the red sustained), and the DI cassette has been replaced to fix a weird cut-out problem under hard accileration. I know it's not fuel, because it behaves the same on Mobil 93, Exxon 93, or Sunoco 94. It shouldn't be an oil problem (the car runs on Mobil 1 0W30 in the winter, 10W40 during the summer). Clues?
