Your last statement about too little back pressure is not correct for a turbochrged engine. You can't have too little back pressure for the turbo. Rember the exaust is connected to the turbo, not the manifold directly. The turbo provides the back pressure. Go with a mandrel bent 2.5" eliminate the center muffler completely completely ( it is not a resonator no matter what the parts book says, but a straight through muffler that is curved to fit the space) The stock saab 9000 rear muffler is as good as most aftermarket items. Git one off a Aero if you want a bigger tip.
