I do not understand why. I have owned porsches before many time & each time I have bought a copy of the parts catalog. The same catalog has been available from either the dealer or outside vendors. As far as propietary, that I question.. There is really nothing on the disks that I cannot find from asking my dealer's parts guy. Maybe, SAAB should see it as a good idea, not a bad one. If SAAB chooese to make the disk available, I give them income by buying the disk. I also help them by not tying up their parts man for a few minutes while he looks up every single part number that I order. But then, I worked for General Motors for 15 years. Go figure. eichler.
