Subject: 900's Ride

I recently acquired a well maintained 1989 Saab 900 turbo. I was very impressed with the previous owners records, so I am comfident that it was kept in very good shape. Appearance alone has set my mind at ease. Nonetheless, the ride sometimes is unpleasant, and that's being conservative. It handles very well but the suspension at times is a bit rough. I am acutely aware of every bump in the road when I drive over less than perfect pavement. Is this normal for the 900? I was told that the turbo version is sportier by design, and therefor it has a greater "communication" to the road. But this communication is bordering on painful sometimes. Can anything be done to ease the ride up? Are there softer springs or easier shocks available? Please do not respond to this message. All responses must please remain within the newsgroup or to be routed to <carpedmnopsamonger.net>
