What type/year of SAAB are you thinking of?

The early models (not years) 92, 93, 95, 96, 97 are easy to work on and
parts are still available, if not with SAAB then with Ford. Special
tools are not really needed, there is a Haynes manual for 95/96. The
orioginal shop and part manuals can be bought at SAAB.
