Charles River Saab and their dealership in Framingham are nickel and dimers - squeeze you for everything little bullshit they can. I think they're also illiterate - can't read written instructions. I have two Saabs and never needed a mechanic to do anything but standard service. So, don't put so much emphasis on "nice guy mechanics" - its the price that's important.
