I am looking at bying an old saab rather than a newer model car. The one I am looking at has 168000kms and is 1986. What sort of maintenance problems start occuring with models around this age. How expensive are gearbox repairs etc. I am in New Zealand and we have three main dealers. Interested in your comments either to johnrnopsam.co.nz or in replies to this group.
