The connector on the harness that plugs into the bottom of the master brake cylinder has broken leaving me with no brakes. My shop has performed a temporary fix (albeit cheaper and probably not as safe) by plugging this harness back in and taping around it. They said that the harness is about $300 and installation would run about $200. Does anybody know if this harness can be "spliced". I would rather (for financial reasons) order a harness from somebody like Goldwing or Strandburg, cut the harness and splice the new connector on. The car is a 1991 900s convertible. Any suggestions?
