I have bought two used Saabs, an 87 900S 16V and my 87 9000S. The
pre-buy inspection showed no more than a 5 psi difference between
cylinders. While 1 & 2 are consistent, that 15 psi jump to 145 in 3 & 4
is cause for concern. Time to check the valves and head gasket....How
many miles on the car and does it use or burn any oil? Questions that
should be answered before you buy, if you buy.
