Subject: Gas mileage drop on 85 900S 16v Turbo

I've recently been experiencing a drop in the gas mileage which I was getting with my Saab over the last 10K mi or so. It's gone from a peppy 30mi/gal to a not so great 25mi/gal. It has 120K mi on it right now. I'm not sure if this is something to be expected or if there is something that I can do to help improve the gas mileage. I just changed the plugs with no distinct improvement over two tanks of gas. I change the oil regularly and the belts don't seem to loose or worn and I just replaced the air filter two oil changes ago (6K mi). Any other ideas on how to improve the gas mileage? Most of the driving I do is highway and country road driving. I do have one somewhat weird thing going on with the car. I have an intermitent rapid clicking noise which comes from a plastic relay or something mounted on the top of the radiator in the front of the car. It has a set of wires comming to it from the top and I'm not sure what it is, but it does seem to be malfunctioning. It is almost directly in-line with the distributor cap, but towards the front of the car and on top of the radiator (if that helps anyone nail down what this thing is). If anyone can give me a pointer on increasing the gas mileage or figuring out what that relay thing is I'd really appreciate it. I have to say that this car is by far the finest automobile I've ever owned and it's always a dream to work on, except when it comes to the brakes. If anyone knows where I can get ahold of a brake tool for this car I'd be eternally grateful and so would my knuckles. Cheers, Jeremy
