I've a 1993 Doug Rippie DR1 Corvette that's RWD and if you'd like, you can bring your SAAB to see just how far off the road you think I'll slide. As for my BMW, you've no idea as to it's performance, so stick to what you know. If the DR1 is too much of a punk for you, I can get my hands on a modified 1989 twin turbo 911 sporting 832 hp. Also RWD. I'm not saying that RWD is the only way to go. I'm saying that in high performance, high speed applications, FWD has NOT proven itself to be consistently superior. Now if you think that just because my cars are RWD that I can't power slide or induce an oversteer condition to pass someone in a turn, then you are mistaken. As for AWD, I love it! I've NEVER said that AWD was inferior. I've had the pleasure of putting a Porsche 911 Twin Turbo through it's paces at Sears Point. That car amazes me! But not a SAAB. CJ
