I met a young lady who is trying to sell a 84 Saab Turbo. As I have not had any experience with Saabs, I'm looking for a little advice. I took a look at the car yesterday and found that it's in good condition. It's been sitting for a while so the interior is kinda stiff. Other than that, the interior looks fine. I have yet to hear the car run. It's not driveable, as I am told, because the car needs a slave cylinder for the clutch. She also mentioned that some relays need replacing. The price for the car is about $400, which isn't too bad given the car's condition. However, I'm wondering if it would be a good investment for such an old foreign car. How hard is it to replace the slave cylinder? I don't know what relays are bad, but how hard are they to find, and install (in general -- US)? Any help/pointers would be appreciated.
