Hello, I am 16yrs old, in the market for a used car. I initially had my eyes on BMWs and other stylish mid 80s vehicles. Then a 1985 Saab 900 (non turbo) caught my eye. I looked at it this evening, it was getting dark so I used a flashlight to aid me in looking it over. All and all its in great shape (some sun fading of paint here and there, NO rust!, engine looks good, back panel (cardboard) is cracked so it sags in. but all and all, good). He is asking $1900 but conceded he'll negotiate. The A/C is broken -- so I'm not even going to worry about it. www.kbb.com says its worth $1700 and change w/o A/C, so I'm going to offer him $1500 and won't go above $1700. Anything I need to know about this car? '85s good models? Any cautions, warnings, praises, etc. about this model/year? Any help would be great!, Thanks, Rick
