Dear John, My 900 used to do just the same - on a wet motorway drive with lots of spray I would suddenly lose power and have to pull over. A good spray over all the ignition leads would usualy work every time. Then one time I decided to fiddle with the ht leads when it was running and got a massive jolt off the coil lead - changed it even though it was only a year old and no more problems. I measured the offending lead with my multimeter and the resistance was as specification but the insulation was obviously broken down at some point hence the misfire and electric shock. At least its a cheap swop and see fix John
