Subject: Help - 9000 2.3T with no boost pressure

Please help with the following if you can. The Problem : Monday morning the car ran as usual, Monday afternoon there was a severe lack of performance accompanied by a boost gauge which showed no more than 1mm of movement into the positive boost range (yellow/orange section) The Car : 1991 9000 CD 2.3T with 110 000 miles, bought in the UK 3yrs ago. Recent DI cassette replacement (5000 miles) and minor radiator leak fixed with Radweld (1000 miles). Serviced regularly at home and at local independent Saab garage, but not pampered. Always allowed to idle before switched off. I would be grateful if someone could suggest some obvious or not so obvious causes other than a seized turbo unit. If you would prefer to reply directly rather than through alt.autos.saab, my e-mail address is firstnopsamdley.freeserve.co.uk . Thanks in advance, Chris Hedley.
