Debra, I suspect most will tell you to keep the turbo. It all depends on how the turbo 900 checks out. If everything is right and it is a 5 spd, I would go with the turbo. I think your 900S is an automatic. The other thing to consider is how much you have invested in the first and how much will you have to invest in the 900 turbo to get it where you want it. Oil and filter changes are more critical with the 900 turbo. They are critical for both. It is just with the turbo you will pay a higher price for not being diligent. I have had both, an 83 900T and 87 900S. I enjoyed both. Now I love my 87 9000S.
