Our 9000 CD 2.3 does not have this either. It is possible that this feature was not added to airbag equipped Saabs for fear that the aribag would deploy out of position. In later 9000s however the steering wheel is telescopic, and the hazard switched moved to the right of the clock on the dash (possibly after Saab was able to collect data, and conclude that a telescopic feature would have very little consequence on airbag deployment). Some 9000s not destined for US markets may have telescopic wheels because they may not have come with drivers airbags as standard equipment, though airbags were probably available as options before they became available in the US market. Does anyone have a 1990 Saab 9000 with driver's airbag and telescopic wheel? -T On Wed, 05 May 1999 21:31:52 GMT, sfreundnopsamejanews.com wrote: >Is there any reason why this car does not have an adjustable steering wheel?
