Sweeney, This seems fair. I paid US$2100 for the transmission and I am a personal friend of the Saab specialist who installed it, so I can't compare installation costs. Though, 2,000km later, I have no reverse, nor third gear, so the rebuilt Saab trannys go bad too, only quicker =] But thank god for warranties!
