To be honest: YES a lot 900 convertibles have the AERO (3 spoke dark grey/polished 6.5x16" offset 22mm) rims installed - but they DON`T fit!!!! For this rim one should take a 205/50 16" tire that rubbs the fenders on the rear, even when you use the SAAB recommended (for 6x15"/33mm) higher bounce limiter on the rear axis, especially when hard concerning or heavy loaded! THESE BEAUTIFUL RIM ONLY FITS WHEN YOU USE A 195/50 (40 better) 16" tire like the Pirelli P6000 with very round tire edge. THE PROBLEM IS THE RIM OFFSET!!! There´s no problem with the 6x15" Super AERO 92 (3 spoke assymetric) rim cause it has an offset of 33mm. Standard rims are 5.5x15" 44mm offset!!! On the 6x15" 33mm you can use an 205/50-15 ultra high performance (Michelin SX-GT, Dunlop SP 9000) tire that will offer best handling! Better than the 16.5x16" solution any way, cause you damage your car when you are going to concern hard. I also wanted to take the 6.5x16" rim cause it looks great - but the 6x15"Super AERO 92 offers the better performance pack. calculate the tire position: 5.5x15" 195/60 reference 6 x15" 205/55 nearly same diameter, inside -2mm outside +12mm 6.5x16" 205/50 diameter -1mm inside -13mm outside + 23mm!!!! too much Regards, -RCS- 1993 900 turbo convertible "R.
