You've always given thoughtful responses before so here's the scoop: no matter how I adjust the electric seat (hi vs low, straight back vs reclined, lumbar or not, the seat pushes the middle of my back too far forward. My upper back doesn't properly rest on the upper seat back and I end up with slouched shoulders. After 2 hours I'm in pretty serious pain. Before I sold my wonderful '96, we did some pretty careful measuring and although the seats looked similar, the old style seat back is indeed much straighter without the convex push-out in the center. I'm 6' tall, fairly evenly proposrtioned in torso vs leg, and slim. JoHan, if you or anyone else know if I can fit an older seat, let me know. I remember reading that Saab put the 9-5 seat in the 9-3 claiming it was more comfortable. Maybe, but not for me! --Blair
